Hotel restaurant at Hampshire Court, Basingstoke.

We booked a table last minute as a spontaneous decision, and we absolutely did not regret it! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the very polite receptionist, Dylan, who showed us to the restaurant and kindly wished my husband a happy birthday. We enjoyed a drink outside in the beautiful courtyard, which was so peaceful and relaxing. Our dinner was looked after by three amazing members of staff who were true superstars—attentive, polite, friendly, and professional. Tyisha served our drinks, Manager Ildiko took care of our dinner, and Steven regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing—delicious, beautifully presented, and served from a wonderfully designed menu with a great choice of dishes. To make the evening even more special, a beautifully decorated birthday plate arrived from the kitchen as a lovely surprise. 🎂✨ Thank you to Dylan, Tyisha, Ildiko, Steven, and the whole team for making my husband’s birthday so memorable. We had such a wonderful evening! Highly recommended—we will definitely be back! ❤️

Staff at the reception desk and in the bar were fantastic and very helpful. The shift manager was chatty and friendly and the reception made our stay as pleasant as they could. Some of the rooms dont have Aircon, so just watch out for this when you book, if its likely to be hot.

I went to this hotel with a friend for a spa deal, which turned out to be really good value for money. We both agreed that the treatment we each chose was excellent. Dinner was very good and the breakfast could not be faulted. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good and clean. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Very welcome receptionist and we were able ‘upgraded’ as we had booked a junior suite. We booked a suite as it was marketed as suitable for 4 adults. When we got to the room we were very disappointed I thought we would get a double bed and 2 singles Bug unfortunately we got a double bed , a pull out sofa bed with a very thin mattress plus a camp bed with an even thinner mattress My 15 year old daughter was ok on the sofa bed as she is petite, but my 17 year old 5”10 daughter really struggled on the camp bed. Her feet hung over the edge and this think mattress was extremely uncomfortable you could feel all the springs The double bed had awful pillows, super lumpy and thin as a pancake. This meant not we all had a terrible sleep. We mentioned this to reception and housekeeper came, who was very helpful with exchanging the pillows but all She could offer for the camp bed was a duvet to sleep on. I would not recommend booking this room if it’s for 4 adults or 2 adults and teenagers Overall the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast was great, meal in the restaurant very tasty although the chocolate brownie was cold. Nice to have pool, gym included Tennis was £5 per person , good value Would stay again but would have to book two Rooms

We had a lovely stay, friendly staff and room was very clean. The location was great as it was close to town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Recently visited the Hampshire Court Hotel, really happy with the service provided from Foo & Beverage Team.

After staying at the hotel for six months with my family, I want to say a special thank you to Zaneta, Maryse, Maria, Jaylee and Lacy, as well as all the ladies who cleaned our rooms. Their kindness and positive energy made our mornings something to look forward to. They built such a lovely connection with my one-year-old and five-year-old, taking time to entertain them, make them smile and help us feel welcome. The room-cleaning team also looked after us with such care throughout our stay. Being away from home for so long wasn’t easy, but these wonderful ladies made a real difference and helped the hotel feel more like home. We’ll remember their warmth and kindness with great affection. Thank you all for looking after our family.

Attended for a weekend bar billiards tournament and the venue was ideal for it . Some areas could do with some tlc but generally it was a good stay.

Hampshire Court Hotel – A Lovely Spa Break We had a lovely spa break at Hampshire Court Hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful — friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout. Our Junior Suite was clean and tidy, although the attention to detail could be improved slightly. We noticed quite a lot of rubbish behind the TV, where something had fallen down the back. There was also a minor clicking noise coming from the air-conditioning unit, although neither issue significantly affected our stay. Overall, we felt the hotel offered great value for money and it was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and everything was really enjoyable. As we were on holiday, we would have appreciated breakfast being available a little later, perhaps until 10:00am rather than 9:30am — but that's probably just us being lazy and wanting a lie-in! All in all, a lovely stay with wonderful staff, and we would happily return.

Josh and Amy on leisure reception were a great help, answered all my questions and made my time there much better

We stayed overnight on route to a wedding the next day.Shortly before our visit my husband had become unwell and i needed to use a wheelchair.On arrival the service was amazing, the staff could not do enough for us and made our stay so easy and so enjoyable.The following morning I had a lovely swim and in the second pool was a wonderful sight of young tots with their parents having a water class.A wonderful joyous thing to see.Top marks to this hotel who employ professional, kind staff.

I had a great visit / experience at Hampshire Court, initially with booking my in laws a room. Lian couldn’t be more helpful through the booking process and allocating them a fabulous room! We stayed for a few drinks at the bar, which was very chilled and had great service! Will definitely be back

Lovely hotel , good food and staff really friendly. Leisure club very good for a hotel with two pools and a large gym. Special mention to Bev , Ty and Jen in the leisure club who made me feel so welcome.

We stayed overnight the 3 of us and used the spa facilities, had dinner and breakfast. Very relaxing. Good food. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive.

I have been a member for a year and it’s a great club. There is a mixture of classes available for everyone and tailored to all levels. I had PT sessions with Jen and she is brilliant, just what I needed. Her aqua and weights for women classes are amazing. Also Ness for her bootcamp and Spin they are both great and her energy and character makes it all the more fun. All the staff are helpful and friendly.

I can highly recommend the Gym and Spa at the Hampshire Court Hotel. The facilities are outstanding and the staff are welcoming, great and friendly. I have an amazing PT Jen, who supports and inspires me 100%, and has taught me that I can do and achieve a lot more than I thought was possible.

We recently visited the Hampshire Court Hotel for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday alongside my son's and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The food was delicious and the ambience was lovely .Stephan looked after us with amazing hospitality, Head Chef Lonut personally came over to our table to wish us both a happy birthday, bring out a beautifully written , custom choclate message. Thank you whole team of making our celebration soo special.

Good hotel and friendly helpful staff. Jessica in the restaurant could not have been more helpful and aquafit with Jen was great fun. Room very comfortable, except for sink, which looked like paint had been dropped down it and the toilet which was difficult to flush. All in all a good experience and we hope to return.
